Gaurav Bharaj


Provides leadership, strategy, and research guidance to help build next-generation AI solution. Working at the intersection of vision, graphics, audio, and NLP, I lead scientists and engineers to deliver research-driven products in multi-modal neural human industries. I am passionate about harnessing advances in visual computing and generative AI technologies to empower and enhance human lives.

I am the co-founder of Reality Defender and Chief Science Officer at Flawless AI. Before that I was VP of Research at AI Foundation, where I led generative science research to create virtual humans and worked as a researcher at Technicolor R&I. I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard University under the supervision of Hanspeter Pfister and Masters from University of Pennsylvania. And worked at Max-Planck Institute of Informatics under Christian Theobalt.
